Snuggle the cat’s weakness for the Vicar’s chickens drives the Vicar mad, but when the witch Griselda sends fireballs on the garden of The Old Vicarage, Snuggle mistakenly magics the boys, the vicar and the church to the land of Ramion.

The Vicar becomes a child again, and learns not to fear a thing, even the hungry cannibals who are waving spears and shields.  Dancing up to the witch he calls her “Auntie Griselda” and (whilst she is in a state of shock) takes her magic staff. He then magics worms out of the earth and fish out of the lake where (to Griselda’s horror) they start to sing a pilgrim’s hymn.
